Why isn't my favorite show available on VidAngel?
Looking for a specific show on VidAngel but can't find it? Maybe it's Game of Thrones, YOU, Ted Lasso, Star Wars, or the latest Marvel movie? We get it—and we wish we could filter everything. But the short answer is: not yet. Here's why.
The simple version
VidAngel doesn't store movies or shows—we're a filtering company that works with streaming services you already subscribe to. You bring your subscriptions, we add the filters. This means you can only watch shows that meet three criteria:
- They're on a streaming service we link with
- We've created filters for them, and
- You have an active subscription to that service
Think of it this way: if you can't watch something on Amazon without VidAngel, you can't watch it with VidAngel either.
What streaming services work with VidAngel?
VidAngel links with these platforms:
- Apple TV streaming
- Netflix
- Paramount+
- Peacock
- Amazon Video Rent/Buy (rent/buy and subscription titles)

Important: Not every show or movie on these platforms is available for filtering. We focus on popular releases and work to add filters for them shortly after they're released. Filters are created manually—so it can take time.

Why some titles aren't available
We may simply not have created filters for a title yet. VidAngel offers filters for over 20,000 movies and TV shows, and we add more titles weekly. If there's a show you'd like filtered, send us a request—we love hearing what you want!
If a show is available through a different streaming service than what we offer, we may still need to create the filters for that version of the show, which can take time. Be sure to send us a request for that show through your desired service!
How to request: How do I request filters for a movie or TV show?
If you were watching something on VidAngel but now can't find it, here are the likely reasons:
- We had to temporarily remove it to fix something
- The streaming service removed it from their platform. When Apple TV streaming, Peacock, Netflix, Paramount+, or Amazon removes a show, VidAngel has no way for you to access it—even if we already created the filters
- The copyright changed to a studio whose content we agreed not to filter (see below)

How do you know if a title falls under this agreement?
If you request filters for a title from one of these studios, you'll get this message:
Unfortunately the title you requested is one we're unable to provide. Your interest has been recorded and we encourage you to request more titles any time!
We'd love the opportunity to offer everything you'd like to watch with filters, but it might be a while.
