How do I cancel my Google Play subscription?

If you subscribed to VidAngel on your Android through your Google Play account, you'll have to cancel through Google Play. VidAngel Support does not have access to a subscription started this way.

If you've decided you'd rather manage your subscription directly with us or that it's time to cancel your subscription for good, we're sad to see you go, but we're happy to help make this an easy experience for you.

 

How to cancel a Google Play subscription

Subscriptions made through Google Play must be canceled on your Android device or at the Google Play Store website.

ANDROID MOBILE

  1. Open your Android's "Google Play Store" app.
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top.
  3. Select "Payments & Subscriptions."
  4. Select "Subscriptions."
  5. Select "VidAngel". 
  6. This will show the subscription details. Select "Cancel."
  7. Select a reason for cancelling. 
  8. Select "Cancel subscription."

GOOGLE PLAY SITE

  1. Go to subscriptions on Google Play.
  2. Click "Manage" next to VidAngel.
  3. Click "Cancel subscription."

  1. Cancel your Roku subscription following the steps above
  2. Wait until your billing cycle ends, then subscribe at VidAngel.com: https://www.vidangel.com/account
    1. Go to www.VidAngel.com
    2. Click "Log In"
    3. Click "Profile" (or your name if you set that up)
    4. Click "Account"
    5. Click "Start Subscription"
Important: Complete all steps before your next billing date to avoid accidental double charges (if you don't first cancel the app store subscription) or any interruption in service.
