Does VidAngel charge sales tax?
VidAngel subscriptions may be subject to sales tax in some states. Sales tax applicability is typically determined by a number of factors, including total VidAngel sales in the governing state or municipality, state-driven business classifications, and other factors. Please note that laws for each state or area can change over time. Further, as VidAngel sales continue to grow, it may affect our tax status in some areas. As a result of these factors, some customers will see state/local sales tax suddenly added to their bills.
VidAngel uses a specialty service to calculate sales tax liabilities by geography. However, if you feel that we are not collecting the correct amount in your area, please let us know by contacting VidAngel Support HERE and we will evaluate that.
