Are you wanting to know how to add a show to VidAngel? We love hearing what you want to have filtered! To request a movie or TV show use the Search feature on the VidAngel mobile app or log in at www.vidangel.com.
How to Make a Request
- Open the VidAngel mobile app or go to www.vidangel.com on a computer and log in to your VidAngel account.
NOTE: You don't need a current VidAngel subscription to make a Request, but you do need an account. See: An account vs. a subscription
- Go to the Search feature.
- Type in your show.
- Click the Request tab (next to the Results tab) in the Search listings.
- Fill out the form:
- Type the full title of the movie or TV show. If you want an additional season of the show, you can write which season in the title.
- Select if it is a movie or TV show.
- Select from which streaming service it is available.
- Type the year it was released.
OR (you don't need to do both)
You can simply copy+paste the URL from the streaming service of the title you'd like to request.
For example, here is the URL for Oppenheimer on Peacock: https://www.peacocktv.com/watch/asset/movies/oppenheimer/602fd345-3ad6-33fd-a70d-a0e059b8d38a
- Click the "Submit" button.
How long do requests take?
All requests need to go through a thorough research process to verify they are titles we can actually filter.
We choose titles based on how many requests come in, along with a few other factors. Some titles may get many requests and get added to VidAngel quickly, while others do not get more than one or two so it takes longer for them to move up the list.
Weekly Episodes
For episodes that are released weekly, please be aware that each episode goes through multiple rounds of actual humans who create the filters to make sure we don't miss anything. If technology cooperates, we usually have filters for new episodes released within 24-72 hours of when the episode was released.
Can I request anything?
You can request any movie or TV show you'd like, but there are some factors that will determine if we're able to actually create filters for your request.
You can read more about that here: Does VidAngel have filters for everything?
