When you sign in to VidAngel, this means you have an account in our system, but not necessarily a subscription. What's the difference?
An Account
An account means:
- You can Log in to the VidAngel website
- You can Search our catalog
However, without a subscription, you:
- Will not be able to watch any content
- Will not be charged for our service
A Subscription
A subscription means:
- You already have an account
- You can Search our catalog
- You can watch and filter VidAngel licensed content, such as some Angel Studios movies and shows, Dry Bar Comedy Specials, and more
- You can watch and filter select content from your linked streaming services (Amazon, Netflix, Peacock, Apple TV+, etc.) through VidAngel
How do I know if I have a subscription?
You can confirm if you have a subscription or not in your account settings on the website:
- Go to www.VidAngel.com and click "Log in".
- Click "Profile" (or your name if you set that up).
- Click "Account".
- View your subscription status:
If you do have a subscription, you'll see your subscription plan details
If you do not have a subscription, then In your Account Settings next to "Subscription Plan" you'll see "No Subscription".
If you try to watch a show without a subscription, you may see a "Subscribe to VidAngel" button or a pre-roll video of our CEO, Bill Aho, inviting you to subscribe.
