How do I delete my VidAngel account?

When you sign in to VidAngel, you create an account, but not necessarily a subscription. An account lets you browse the catalog, but only a subscription allows you to watch content using our filtering service (see An account vs. a subscription). You can cancel your subscription while keeping your account.

However, deleting your account revokes all access, including your Watchlist, filters, settings, and other data. If you wish to delete your account, you must first cancel your subscription, then follow the steps below, depending on your device:

PHONE OR TABLET

  1. Cancel your VidAngel subscription: 
    1. Cancel an Apple Subscription
    2. Cancel a Google Play Subscription
  2. Open the VidAngel app on your mobile.
  3. Select "Me".
  4. Select "Account".
  5. Select "Delete Account".

*TV APPS

  1. Cancel your VidAngel subscription: Cancel my Subscription
  2. Open the VidAngel app on your TV.
  3. Select "Settings".
  4. Select "System Info".
  5. Select "Delete Account".

*If you are on the Roku app, you will need to use the Computer method for now. 

COMPUTER or ROKU

  1. Sign in to www.vidangel.com
  2. Select "Profile" (or your name) near the top right).
  3. Select "Account".
  4. Select "Cancel Subscription".
  5. Send Customer Support an official request that your account be deleted here: CONTACT SUPPORT
  6. Reply to any Customer Support follow-up questions.
