How do I add a promo code?

Promotional codes (sometimes referred to as gift codes) are sent through emails, advertised through our social media, or through our affiliates. Promo codes may be used if you are subscribing for the first time or if you're reactivating an old subscription. They cannot be applied to an active subscription.

Steps to add a promotional code

Many of our promotions include a link that automatically applies the code.

If you’re not accessing VidAngel through a promotional link and have a code, you can enter it in the Billing & Payment Information section of the Sign Up process. Don’t worry if you see a different price listed initially.

 

Step 1: Click "Enter Promo Code."

A box will appear for you to manually enter the code.

ADD A PROMO TO AN EXPIRED SUBSCRIPTION

If you want to reactivate an old subscription and add a promo code:

  1. Go to your Account Settings page on the website: https://www.vidangel.com/account 
    1. Go to www.vidangel.com and Sign In.
    2. Go to "Profile" (or your name).
    3. Select "Account."
  2. Select "Start Subscription."

 Step 2: Put in the code.

Enter the code in all lowercase and no spaces.

Step 3: Click "Apply." 

You will see a message if your code was activated.

Step 4: Fill out your billing information.

 

Step 5: Click "Start Membership."

Troubleshooting

If you're having trouble applying a promo code, please be aware:

  • Promo codes cannot be applied to an existing subscription. They can only be applied to new or reactivated subscriptions. 
  • Promo codes cannot be applied if you start your subscription through Apple, Google Play, or Roku. They can only be applied when subscribing on our website (www.vidangel.com). 
  • Some promo codes cannot be applied to an annual subscription. Most can only be applied to a monthly subscription.
