You can cast VidAngel from our Apple or Android mobile app to a basic Chromecast dongle or smart TV with Chromecast built-in.
If you'd like to Chromecast VidAngel from a web browser on your computer instead of the mobile app, you can see how to do that here: Chromecast using a Chrome web browser.
Chromecasting is a different casting process than AirPlay. If you're trying to AirPlay to your TV device, you can check out: AirPlay using the mobile app

- Tap on the cast icon in the upper-right corner.
- Select Chromecast as your casting method.
- This will bring up a list of available devices on your network. Select the TV device you would like to use.
- On your mobile: The Cast icon should have turned blue.
On your TV: You will see the VidAngel logo with the text "Ready to Cast". - On the mobile, select the "Play Now" or episode image.
- The title will start on your TV!
Watching through Chromecast
After the show starts on your TV, you will be able to control it using your mobile app, or you can use the TV's remote. You can even close the app and it will continue to play on the TV.
If you want to disconnect from the TV you can easily do this by tapping on the Cast icon in the corner and selecting "Stop Casting" in the VidAngel mobile app.
