Are you getting the error on your computer, "This stream has ads, but it looks like you might be using an ad blocker. Please disable any blockers in order to stream this with VidAngel."? This means you are trying to watch a title that contains ads, but have an ad-blocker on your browser, device, router, and/or ISP. Some common ad blocker web extensions include Adblock Plus, Pie Adblock, Planet VPN, UBlock, Ghostery, duckduckgo privacy, but there are many more. To continue watching on VidAngel, you will need to disable the ad blocker.

The process for disabling the adblocker is obviously going to be a little different for each extension, and we don't support information on them all. But don't worry, we're still here to help! The common thing to look for would be something in the extension settings that says, “DISABLE FOR THIS SITE,” or “ALLOW THIS SITE TO LOAD ADS,” or something along those lines.

Disable for just VidAngel

Try a different browser
If you don't have an ad blocking extension or removing it did not work, try using VidAngel on a different web browser. You may need to reinstall the VidAngel browser extension.
You can use VidAngel on these web browsers (desktop only--not mobile browsers!):
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Edge
Check security software
Do you have any ad-blocking or security software installed (e.g., Webroot, Ad Pros) on your device? Try disabling it and see if VidAngel will work.
Additionally, for some ad-blocker or antivirus software, you may need to whitelist *.vidangel.com, *.cloudfront.net and *.vidangel.work.
Check browser security settings
As a last resort, you can try turning off the "block intrusive ads" setting.
In Chrome, you can do this here: chrome://settings/content/ads
Or here is how to navigate to that setting manually: 3 dot menu > Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > scroll down to Additional content settings > Intrusive ads > select Any site you visit can show any ad to you.
Still having trouble?
If you're still having trouble with ad block errors or are using a device other than a computer, you may have an ad blocker on your router or network. Go here for more help: Error: Using an ad blocker on your network
